Share Drafts
Our share draft (checking) accounts have no monthly fees and no
minimum balance requirements. There are no limits on how many checks you
can write, and as long as you maintain a minimum balance of $500, you
will even earn dividends.
For your convenience, GCFCU also accepts Direct Deposits.
Over age 55? You'll receive one order of checks per year, on us.
Savings
There are a number of options available to make the most of your
savings, and all are insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union
Administration, a division of the federal government. You can
deposit in person, by mail, or through a payroll deduction if your
employer offers it.
A regular share (savings) account with a minimum of $100 earns
quarterly dividends, based on your average daily balance at the end of
the quarter.
Christmas and Vacation Clubs make saving for special occasions easy.
The Christmas Club "year" starts in October and runs through September
30th, though you can join at any time. Your balance is deposited
automatically into your share account by the 10th of October.
Vacation Clubs are perfect, whatever your destination or budget -- you
are allowed two withdrawals a year (subsequent withdrawals within that
year carry a $5 fee per withdrawal.)
You can take advantage of Payroll Deduction to painlessly build your
Club balances. For your convenience, we offer automatic renewal of
Payroll Deductions for Christmas Clubs.
Investment Planning
Also federally insured by NCUA, our flexible investment options offer
competitive interest rates. Certificates of Deposit (CDs) may be opened
with as little as $500. Rates are guaranteed for the term of the
investment.
You can start an IRA (Individual Retirement Account) with a minimum
deposit of $100, and start earning compounded interest, paid quarterly.
The IRS may allow you to deduct part or all of your IRA contribution
from your taxes. Additionally, all earnings on your IRA are tax-free
until you withdraw.
Check with your certified accountant or tax preparer for details.
There are penalties for early withdrawal of these investments. Dividends
and rates are subject to frequent change, so check with the credit union
for current information.

VISA Credit Cards
Convert your high-interest credit cards in to a GCFCU VISA card for
better rates, more value, and no annual fee. Our loan officers can
help you find the right VISA plan for your lifestyle and needs.
VISA Debit Cards
Take charge of your spending with a debit card. Your VISA
debit card works like a check at any merchant who accepts VISA, and
functions as an ATM on Star, Cirrus, or Pulse ATM networks.
Combine the convenience of a credit card with the immediacy of a
checking account.
