join Gulf Coast Federal Credit Union, your money goes farther.
Membership in this nonprofit institution gives you access to low-cost
loans and affordable, comprehensive financial services, as well as

Who is eligible for membership?
You may join the credit union:
- If you are employed by, or retired from, the City of Mobile, the
County of Mobile, the Merit System of Mobile County, or any company
that is a member of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce.
- If you are are a relative of someone who is a member.
Our philosophy is: "Once a Member, Always a Member." You
may remain a member of the credit union for the rest of your life, as
long as you maintain the minimum share (savings) balance.
How to apply for membership
To open your account, you must fill out a application form and make
a minimum deposit of $25 to shares (savings.) To open a share draft
(checking) account, qualify for a loan, or acquire a VISA Credit Card,
you must deposit a minimum of $100. If you qualify, you may reach
this minimum through Payroll Deductions. There is a $5.00
membership fee.
